JUST LIKE ME? A DOMINIC GREEN FILM - A RAGE CUTS PRODUCTION

Filmed on location in and around Birmingham and featuriing emerging Birmingham artistes. "Just Like Me?" by Marcus Fernando (from an idea by Tyrick Murrain) tells the story of  identical twins brought up in different parts of the city. The film will premiere at the end of the year/early 2005 at a Birmingham venue on the net and on your mobile phone.

This film showcases young Birmingham creative people.

We're looking for musicians writers, composers rappers etc to be part of the soundtrack for this film and we're looking to go into the studio throughout October in Birmingham. We are looking for approximately ten young people who are unemployed to be part of the
soundtrack for this project. So if you think you could do it, get in contact with us!

TUESDAY NIGHT MUSIC CLUB and "THAT THURSDAY THING"

Organised by John Benbow, the TUESDAY NIGHT MUSIC CLUB is an opportunity for people to get together and play music in a relaxed and friendly environment. Every Tuesday from 9pm onwards, at the Coach and Horses, Balsall Heath, musicians are encouraged come along and play their music to the group. All styles are represented from original songs to instrumental, not forgetting Tim, the resident one-man band! Most sessions are acoustic, perfect for those aiming to get used to performing in front of other people.
On the first Thursday of every month at 8:30pm, John also runs "THAT THURSAY THING". Based at The Roadhouse, Cotteridge, these sessions are much more in your face! They have a great PA (with monitoring) and an engineer who really knows how to use it (Tony Keach, ex Ocean Colour Scene and SongWriters Cafe)! Performance-wise it’s very similar to Tuesday nights, but the amplified sound makes it a real players session!

"AUTUMN LEAVES" - FEATURE FILM

The murder of a local businessman sparks an investigation by Philip Beringer, an undercover private investigator who specialises in covering up the mistakes of the police. Clouded by the underworld of the city, the case becomes ever more strange and personal for Beringer, as he realises his own ties with death and darkness. As he looks for the answers, only more questions arise, along with the recurring dream of a blonde that's as deadly as they come. Beringer soon discovers that this is a fight for his own existence against demons of his very own.
"Autumn Leaves" is Ed Powell's first feature film, which he wrote himself and filmed over 6 weeks. So far, the picture edit has been done and the soundtrack (by Andrew Nicholls) will be recorded within the next couple of months.
Ed plans to enter "Autumn Leaves" into the major European film festivals after the Premiere, which is being held at Warwick University in late 2003.
